Industrial Engineer
Worldlink Supply Inc. is now seeking for a full-time Industrial Engineer to join the team.
Job Requirements:
- Prepare monthly shipment schedules by analyzing sales data, inventory level and market trend models. Review monthly production schedules, engineering specifications, orders status and other related information of current manufacturer to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
- Confer with manufacturer, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and project status. Update information to related departments.
- Plan and establish sequence of operations for the purpose of optimized utilization. Estimate production cost, operation cost, current sales volume and market trend model, present report and solution methods to management personnel and manufacturer. Identify waste and reduce cost in daily operation.
- Continuously improve existing operating, logistics and transportation systems, including but not limited to the optimization of transportation routing and measuring performance of logistics partners.
- Illustrate maximum efficiency of warehouse operation by conducting inventory management, modifying working methods and designing layout of equipment and workspace.
- Maintains accuracy with respect to technical and supervisory skills by attending training classes, special technical and administration courses, seminars, exhibits and trade shows.
- Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering required.
